Buckwheat Brownie Mix 605G
A deliciously fudgy brownie that is quick and easy to make!
A family favourite recipe that has become a huge hit in stores! Buckwheat is rich in protein, fibre and antioxidants whilst being a perfect gluten-free flour alternative.
Paired with the benefits of a serving of cacao, these brownies give you lots of goodness while enjoying a delicious treat.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius and line a 9 × 9 inch baking tray. Tip out the dry ingredients from this packet into a large mixing bowl. Add the oil and milk or water to
the dry ingredients and mix well into a smooth batter. Fold through any optional extras at this stage. Pour into your baking tray and place in oven for 30 minutes. For a less fudgy brownie, leave in oven for an extra couple of minutes.Gently lift baking paper to remove brownie from tray and place on wire rack to cool. Remove paper and slice into 9 squares. Will keep for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
YOU WILL NEED:
120ML OIL OF YOUR CHOICE (WE LOVE COCONUT, WALNUT OR OLIVE)
AND 200ML WATER OR MILK OF YOUR CHOICE
For different variations you can add one or a few of the following:
- Nuts: 150g such as walnuts, pecans or macadamias
- ChocolateE: 150g such as milk, dark or white chocolate chips or chunks
- Fresh Berries: 1/2 cup such as raspberries, strawberries or blackberries. Press into the top before baking
- Serving Suggestion: Serve with creamy coconut yoghurt mixed with a dash of vanilla paste and fresh berries
