Toasted Amaranth Porridge

Ingredients

1/2 cup Amaranth Grain
1 1/3 cups Nut Milk
1 tbsp Honey/ Coconut nectar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Chia Jam, Cacao Nibs, Almond Butter, Nut Milk, and Toasted Coconut to serve

Instructions

  1. Start by adding your amaranth to a pot on medium-high heat and stir continuously. They will start to pop, so keep stirring.
  2. Once at least 1/2 have popped, add your milk, honey and vanilla, and cook stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve your porridge with a splash of fresh nut milk and anything else you like. Recipe for Chia Jam is also available in our recipes.
