Black Rice Porridge
Ingredients
1 cup Black Forbidden Rice
550ml Dairy Free Milk of your choice
1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tbsp Honey or Coconut Nectar
pinch of Himalayan Salt
extra Milk, Fruit & Nuts to serve
550ml Dairy Free Milk of your choice

Instructions
- Soak the rice overnight in filtered water, then strain and rinse and place in a saucepan with the milk, spices, honey and salt.
- Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer, place the lid on and cook gently for 10-15 mins until milk is absorbed and you have a nice porridge consistency.
- Serve with some more milk, fresh fruit, chopped nuts and a drizzle of honey or coconut nectar.
