Product Description

Flaxseeds, also known as linseeds, are an excellent source of omega 3 essential fatty acids and a fantastic choice for vegans and vegetarians. They also contain high levels of B-complex vitamins, folate, dietary fibre and protein. They are very good for improving heart health and regulating healthy cholesterol levels. They are a great addition as toppings in yoghurts, desserts or smoothies and work better when they are freshly ground.

Ground flaxseeds can also be used to make a 'flax egg', a vegan egg replacement used in baked treats, cakes and cookies as it is a fantastic binding agent. To make use 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds mixed with 3 tablespoons of warm water and let sit for 10 mins. This ratio is equivalent to one egg, so double the quantity per egg in your recipe. Store flaxseeds in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place.

We deliver every day: Mondays to Sundays. including Public Holidays.

You can place your order via our online store at any time of the day. However, we require one to two days’ notice to process your order.

Our order cut-off time for orders is at 4 pm daily. The earliest Order Fulfilment Dates will be as follows:

  • For orders placed before 4 pm – earliest Order Fulfilment Date is the next day.
  • For orders placed after 4 pm – earliest Order Fulfilment Date is the day after tomorrow.
  • During our promotion period, all orders will be fulfilled within 48 to 72 hours.

Free Delivery

There is no minimum order amount for delivery. Orders of $100.00 and above qualify for free delivery, while orders below that amount will incur a $10.90 delivery fee (after any discounts are applied).
