Juicy, tart rhubarb simmered down into luscious, thick compote, outside Nantes in north-west France. We love this with granola and yoghurt for breakfast. For an elegant pudding, simply serve over clotted cream or ice-cream with our stem ginger shortbread. Delicious with cake for pudding or afternoon tea.
