Organic black beluga lentils are densely nutritious & high in fibre, protein, & antioxidants, making them a fantastic vegetarian alternative. They do not get mushy when cooked & have a little 'al dente' texture. They are great in soups, salads, & curries. They are also fantastic to precook & keep in the fridge for a few days and add to most meals for a vegan protein kick. Soaking is not necessary. They will cook in about 45 minutes making them a great quick option..
