Carrot & Turmeric Falafel
Ingredients
2 Carrots
1 1/4 cups Cooked Chickpeas
1 tsp Ground all Spice
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Ground Turmeric
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tbsp of Scoop's Zaatar Spice Blend
1/2 tsp Ground Coriander
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
2 tbs of Seeds (Sesame, Flaxseeds or Sunflower)
1/2 cup Quinoa Flakes or Teff Flakes
Oil of choice to lighly fry
Instructions
- To make these delicious falafel simply chop the carrots in your food processor into little pieces (or grate).
- Add all other ingredients and blend until you have a smooth paste.
- Shape as you like and roll in quinoa flakes, teff flakes or even sesame seeds.
- Fry gently in an oil of your choice, for about 3 mins on each side until golden. Best served warm.
